Yesterday's eclipse (5/21/2012)

Here are some more of the images, of yesterday's eclipse, that we took with the 2 other cameras that we used. In these images, you can't see the eclipse directly but the solar flares produced a strange effect in which you can see the eclipse. The first shows it clearly on the side of the sun. The second produced 2 flares. One directly above the sun & the other at the bottom of the shot in blue. The 3rd & 4th shots both had more flares & produced one very bright flare that shows the eclipse very clearly! All some interesting images of a very interesting event! Today's (5/20/12) solar eclipse...

Hello. Thanks for checkin' out Bsombin! ...I was sitting in my room, earlier today, when my sister came in and told me to "come out and take pictures of the eclipse." I had no idea last night, as I sat looking at the stars, that we would be having an eclipse today. I did feel like something was different in the way things were lined up, though. I was surprised, and as excited as a kid on the last day of school, when I heard "Eclipse"! As soon as I heard sis', I grabbed my cameras & ran outside to captured some images of the celestial event.  Between sis' & I, we got pics on a few different cameras.
