Classy classics cruisin' Cali.
Welcome to Bsombin'. I was out cruisin' down Ventura Blvd., this past weekend, and I came across a parking lot full of classic cars. As I pulled in, it felt like I had taken a trip in a time machine & landed in the early 30's! I thought some of you might enjoy looking at some of the classic cars I saw so I captures some images to share with you...
An observation I've made, made into a poem...
"The Greatest Gift"
Persistence...
It is the greatest gift to have
...Even if you are
Dumb;
Weak; &
Slow,
As long as you
Persist,
You will get to where
You want to go

The school of self teaching...
Hello & thanks for checkin' out Bsombin'! I've been working on a lot of projects, lately, & have found myself having to learn a lot of new things as quick as I can. As one of my partners put it, "The thing about starting up a business is it's usually like learning to fly a plane while you're building it." That is exactly what I have been doing lately. Lol. So, when asked if I would help direct a commercial, I had to turn into the teacher & the student; The pilot & the mechanic; the producer & the director (the Vader & the Luke. Lol)... This explains my recent lack of attention to the blog. But, the intension to add updates is always there, along with the will. ...& where there is a Will, there is a Bill. Lol. I'll keep making the time to post, so I hope you can continue to find the time to come back & keep checkin' out Bsombin'!
A poem from the Heartache section of my story
"My Chrome"
Cold beauty...
Chrome,
With high shine,
No eye can ignore,
Only a blind man could
See through you,
You left an
Artist
Wishing he was
Without
His eyes
(Since they cry so much from missing the sight of your luster),
His hands
(Since they know what it is to hold you & ache to feel your perfect finish),
& his ears
(Since they heard, & believed, the glare of your untrue "I Love You"s)
Beloved chrome...
Your shine
Echos through
My veins,
As this heart
Screams
For your
Hardened perfection
Only a blind man could
Look past
My chrome's
Cold sparkle

Bsomb's April Ol' Skool DnB mix
Hello world!!!! ...I've been "riding a tiger", as my new friend/client, "M", keeps saying to me. "M" has been teaching me a lot of things, both intentionally & indirectly, lately! Lol. I'm always happy to learn. So, being taught lessons, intentionally or not, is something I welcome. One lesson I keep getting my face rubbed in, lately, is that you can never plan enough! "M" keeps reminding me of this & my computer did the same this weekend. ...Otherwise, I would have posted a new mix on Sat. I failed to plan on having a computer malfunction... My mix got erased, when I tried to save it, for some strange reason. Lol. So, after a fit of rage being had Saturday night, I made time today, in the midst of madness, to re-do this mix. I hope you enjoy it! ...I started Djing because I wanted to make my own DnB mixes. This mix is made up of a bunch of records that I bought when I first got my turntables. ...Basically, this is the music that made me decide to become a DJ!

4 of Bsomb4's Hiaku poems for y'all to read...
I have written a lot of poems, in my life. But I haven't written many Hiakus. I decided to write a few the other day. Here are the 4 I liked best...
Grow Hard
I fall but won't lay
I break but won't stay broken
Strength grows out of pain
Filling Up
Thinking about her
Eyes fill with tears of sadness
Love is full of hurt
Eyes Sleep
Dreaming of her eyes
I see her with my eyes closed
Then wake up in tears
Cradle To The Grave
A baby's first breath
The start, as we all know it
A fight till the end

Tuesday night in Hollyweird
Thanks for checkin' out the blog. Recently I've taken on some big projects & have been stretched pretty thin. I haven't had much time to get out, or even update the blog, with everything I have been working on. But, I had to take the night off, on Tuesday, for my good homie Aldo's B-day. We rolled out to Hollyweird & checked out Dim Mak Studios. It being a Tuesday night made no difference, the bass was bumpin' the spot was jumpin'! AC Slater & Congorock had the dance floor packed & the crowd was hyped! Here are some pics & vids... Enjoy & don't forget to check back for more "Bsombin'"!
