Your wings...

Made of impossibilities,

Holding you on 

A dream's breath,

Colored, with light, by angels

Tiny marvel

Floating on the fluter of our

Disbelief

& your

Defiance of 

Nature's rules,

Graceful;

Vigorous;

Organically electric;

With the fury of a storm

Carrying you through the 

Sun's Kingdom,

With their stubborn 

Disregard for

What can & can't be,

While they mock 

Failure's call

...Your wings

With your inexplicable 

Speed, & control, 

You are a 

Beautiful wonder

Inspiring the worlds

Broken hearts, & 

Tired minds, 

To forget the future that 

We think we know, & 

Dream of the past that 

Never was, 

While working to manifest 

Our impossible destinies

By becoming everything

We were told we couldn't be!
