More Supercar Sunday - Part 6 (The Aventador S)

Thanks for checkin' out the Bsombin' blog! I've been sharing pictures of the cars that I have been going to see and shoot at Supercar Sundays, for the past couple of weeks. I'm finishing up the last of the cars from last week, before I start sharing the cars that I saw this morning. And I saved my favorite car for last. As much as I loved those Porsches, Lamborghinis are hard to top. And the Aventador S is not just any Lamborghini either. This is a $450,000 dollar beast! With 729 hp and a 0 - 60 of 2.9 seconds, this is without a doubt a "Supercar". It has a top speed of 217 mph and it can do a quarter mile in 10.4 seconds, too. I didn't get to talk to the owner. But I saw him when he left. And the sound that this car's engine made when it started was like some kind of monster roaring as it woke up. This car is loud! If you own one of these, the neighbors are definitely going to know when you're taking it out for a spin. That roar was music to my ears, when I heard it, though. I didn't get any audio of it to share. But I did get a lot of pics and some video for you to check out...

I hope you enjoyed the last of last weeks cars. I'm already working on editing the pictures from today to share through out the week. So check back soon for more cars, art, photography, stories, and Bsombin'!

More Supercar Sunday - Part 5 (Purple Power)

Thanks for checkin' out the Bsombin' blog! I'm still not done sharing the cars from last week and I got more pics of supercars today. So, I'm going to have to double down on posts for a while, in order to get caught up.

My first time going to Supercar Sunday I met the owner of a yellow Ferrari 458 named "J". When he saw me shooting the Ferrari, he came over and asked me if I wanted to get interior shots and opened everything up for me to look at. When I saw him last week, he remembered me and we started talking. I was shooting another one of his cars, without knowing it. When he saw me taking pictures of his 911 GT3RS, he came over and opened it up for me! He said he had just got it. It was a 2016, but it was brand new and beautiful. Everything on it was pristine and it looked like it had just been driven off the showroom floor. It even had the gas milage and price sheet still in the window. And it was only $203,000 for this pretty purple Porsche! I actually thought it was going to be a little more than that. I think this is one of the sickest 911s I've ever seen. It really stood out at Supercar Sunday too, with that purple paint getting everyone's attention. Couldn't have been happier when "J" opened up the Driver's side door for me to shoot the interior. That was the first time I've been in a car that costs more than a house. Wish I could have captured the "new Porsche" smell that tickled my nostrils as I shot the interior. It smelled like success and happiness mixed with leather. I obviously can't share that sweet smell with you. But I did get a lot of pics that I can share...

I still have one more car to share from last week's Supercar Sunday that I will be posting tonight. So check back soon for more Supercars and more Bsombin'!

More Supercar Sunday - Part 4 (A Pack Of Porsches)

I'm playing catch up on all the pictures I took at last week's Supercar Sunday before going and shooting more cars tomorrow. So, here are some ridiculous Porsche 718 Spyders that were there last week. Again, Supercar Sunday provides some amazing photo opportunities. And seeing multiple 718's was definitely one of those amazing opportunities. I liked the red one one a little more than the black one. But both were beautiful. Which would you rather have, the red or the black?
