The Broad Museum (09/26/2019) - Part 2 Andy Warhol & Jasper Johns

Thanks for stoppin' by and checkin' out the blog! This is the second of many posts covering my trip to the Broad museum with my aunt Brenda. The Broad has two levels to it. The first floor is divided into three parts. There is a shop, a lobby, and a display section that houses the temporary exhibitions. This is were Yayoi Kusama's Infinity room is. When we arrived at the museum, we had to put our names on a waiting list to be able to see the Infinity room, before going up stairs to see the rest of the museum. We were told to come back in 45 minutes to see the Infinity room. So we went up stairs to start looking at the art while we waited.

The second floor of the Broad is where all the museums art collection is displayed. The second floor is essentially one big room divided up into multiple sections by walls that reach half way to the ceiling. There isn't any particular order to the sections. The main section is in the center of the room and is surrounded by the smaller sections. You can access all the smaller sections from the main section. So we just decided to start in one section and make our way through the other sections in a clockwise direction around the main section.

The Andy Warhol & Jasper Johns section was the first section we checked out, after the main section. I didn't take pictures of everything in the museum. I'd say I have pictures of 90% of the art that was there. So there might be a painting or two missing out of some of the sections. But here are the flicks I got from the Warhol / Johns section
